Emmanuel Ujah
Emmanuel UJAH is a Nigerian journalist with extensive experience on various beats, spaning over 30 years.He spent considerable amount of time in developmental journalism, religion and judiciary before specialising on Business Journalism.
He is currently the Abuja Bureau Chief of Vanguard Newspapers, one of Nigeria’s leading independent dailies. He has been on that position since 2007.
Emmanuel gave his life to Christ as a teenager, in his third year in secondary school, through the evangelistic activities of the Fellowship of Christian Students (FCS) and has ever remained passionate about Christ and issues that affect Christians in Nigeria and elsewhere.
This is particularly so, given the hostility to Christianity in many parts of Northern Nigeria, where he hails from and has travelled extensively, in the course of his professional assignments.
Fidelis Ikechukwu Igwe
Fidelis Ikechukwu Igwe, is a Legal Practitioner who has experience in litigation, and corporate practices spanning more than two decades.
He is at present a partner in the Law Firm of LFN Attorneys.
He is also the Akwa Ibom State Secretary of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR), an Internationally recognized Human Rights body.
He has practised and handled several cases especially fighting for Human Rights, corporate practices, political and civil matters.
Ekundayo Olufemi Emmanuel
Ekundayo Olufemi Emmanuel is the founder and President of Beacon and Guide Institute and the Chief Executive Officer of Global Biotechnology Resources Limited. He is a Professor of Medical Microbiology and Microbial Genetics at the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia State , Nigeria. In addition, he is a Medical Biotechnology Practitioner, Entrepreneur, Writer, and Success Education and Empowerment Trainer.
Professor Emmanuel Ekundayo is a Christian mentor and a minister in the Christian youth development ministry.
In his career spanning nearly three decades in the academia and in the youth development ministry, he has impacted positively the lives of numerous students towards success in academics, personal and spiritual life.
He leads Beacon and Guide Group which comprises Global Biotechnology Resources Limited, LabDx Medical Laboratory and Biomedical Research Centre, Beacon and Guide Nigeria of which Beacon and Guide Institute, and Beacon and Guide Publishing House are subsidiaries.
An avid reader and a passionate promoter of Success Education and Personal Development, Dr. Emmanuel Ekundayo inspires and helps young people to navigate their path to a future of Success and Significance.
Dr. Emmanuel Omo-Osagie Ayoson
Dr. Emmanuel Omo-OSAGIE Ayoson is a Nigerian trained physician with extensive experience in Clinical Medicine and Public Health spanning about 3 decades. He is married to Esther Folasade and has two daughters Joyce and Joanna. He has also spent considerable amount of time in development and community health. He is currently practicing medicine as a Family Physician in Canada. Emmanuel became a Christian early in life and as a result has a burning passion for the deprived and oppressed.
His vision and desire to reach out to the oppressed Christians in Nigeria gave birth to “Act for Christ Today Foundation”. He is very passionate about Christ, Christendom and issues that affect Christians in Nigeria and elsewhere. This is particularly so, given the hostility to Christians in Northern Nigeria, where he had lived for the greater part of his adulthood. He has determined to fulfill Christ mandate through this organization.
Faruk
Faruk is a seasoned professional finance manager with administration, management, and operational capabilities and skills. He is a graduate of Business Administration with Master in Banking and Finance from Bayero University, Kano State, a Chartered Manager with the renowned Nigerian Institute of Management (ANIM), a Chartered Administrator with the Chartered Institute of Administration (ACIA), He has over two decades of cogent professional experience with United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Foreign, Common Wealth and Development Office (FCDO), MacArthur Foundation, Ford Foundation, United Nations (UN) funded Projects and Implementing Partners and other Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Nigeria since 2000 till date. He surrendered his life to Jesus Christ in 1991 and served God in his vineyard and was ordained as a Pastor in October 2011.
Currently, Faruk works with ActionAid Nigeria as the finance anchor person for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) and World Food Program (WFP) Projects after he successfully completed and delivered on the Phase 1 &2 of United Nation World Food Program (WFP) Project in Maiduguri, Borno State and Gashua, Yobe States in the year 2021. He is responsible for financial management and reporting, and field office administrative backstops, supporting national office on financial policy monitoring and compliance obligations etc.
Prio to joining ActionAid Nigeria, Faruk has worked as the Grants & Compliance Manager with Center for Democracy and Development (CDD). He provided guidance on compliance management, grants administration, donor relationship management, financial management, general office administration including internal control management for various projects and financial reporting requirements for donor agencies, he served as the Finance, Grants & Administration Expert with Women’s Right Advancement and Protection Alternative (WRAPA), he restructured, reorganized, and mentored both finance and administrative and grants systems with the operational components of the organization. Participated and supported the organizational development and change management process for organizational effectiveness and system strengthening. Faruk served with both International and National NGO’s in various capacity including Management Sciences for Health (MSH, Basics I/Nigeria, with wide range of administrative, financial and grants responsibilities.
In summary, Faruk’s career covers a wide range of professional obligations spanning from general administration, financial management, grants management, operations management, logistics and human resources management with educational and professional certifications in all the fields adumbrated here-in.
